However, Paris has taken a different approach, implementing one of the world's largest district cooling networks. This innovative system, stretching 120 kilometers of underground pipes, delivers chilled water to various public buildings, including museums, offices, hospitals, and schools. The key to its success lies in the utilization of the Seine River's cold water, which is circulated through the network, exchanging heat with the city's warm water.
